Beaches of Curaçao

Scattered all over the island are numerous paradise beaches to enjoy. If you come to Curaçao for a beach holiday, then you have a dozen of great beaches to choose from. Find an overview of the beaches in the West of Curaçao which are a short distance from Bahia Apartments & Diving.

Grote Knip - A popular beach where many locals also come during the weekend. The wide sandy beach offers plenty of space and is great for swimming, sunbathing and snorkeling. There are few facilities here, so bring your own towel, parasol and something to eat and drink.

Kleine Knip - The little sister of the Grote Knip, a somewhat smaller beach but with just as clear water. Again, few facilities, so bring your own belongings. Tip: you can swim from the Kleine to the Grote Knip and vice versa, the distance is about 1.5 to 2 kilometers.

Playa Kalki - A beautiful bounty beach where the underwater world is also worth seeing. For example, turtles can regularly be spotted here. There are a number of facilities, but just to be safe, bring your own.

Playa Santa Cruz - This beach is sandwiched between 2 mountains, just south of Playa Lagun. The 'Captain Goodlife' established here is a household name in Curaçao. Here you can eat and drink in the bar & restaurant or book one of the tours.

Playa Jeremi - A small beach hidden in a bay near Lagun, and yet undiscovered by the general public! Wonderfully intimate due to its location, you can enjoy the many shades of blue of the sea here. Don't forget to bring a parasol, the sun is brutal.

Playa Forti - Real daredevils jump from the high cliffs into the sea here. Fortunately, you can also just relax on the beach here and there are several nice restaurants here for lunch or dinner.

Playa Lagun - The beach in the bay at Bahia Apartments & Diving. Turtles regularly swim here and many iguanas walk on and around the beach. Ideal of course, this beach is only a 1-minute walk from your accommodation!
